It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Jeanne Wrate of Gwinn, Michigan, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Pelkie and Aunie Pelkie (Hakala); her husband Jerry; and her brothers, Harlan, Bob, Kenny and Leroy.
She is survived by: her children, Marion Paris (David) of Gwinn, Edward Wrate of Marquette, Karen Lohman (Dean) of Montague, MI, Glenn Wrate (Joy) of Gwinn and Barbara Kinsey (Jeff) of Irving, TX; her grandchildren, Adam Paris (Tessa), Louie Paris (Briana), Deanna Fabris (Joe), Aaron Lohman (Kristin), Stephanie Stumpf (Jordan), Rebecca DeBord (Taylor), Angelia Barber (Allen), Olivia Kinsey, Jasmine Mattox (Clayton), Joseph Mattox (Teresa), Jaeden and Joleigh Martinez; her great grandchildren, Landon, Callen, Blake, Carson, Athena, Preston, Luke, Mackenzie, Madelyn, Aiden, Riley, Olivia, Gabriel, Sophia, Bentley and Zachary; her sister Edna Roberts of Gwinn; and her close friend Judy Courtright of Gwinn. She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
