Laura Mares Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Mares of Gwinn, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Garcia and Josephina Garcia; her husband Jose Mares; and her brothers, David, Augustine and Antonio Garcia.

She is survived by: her sons, Ruben Guevara (Heileen) of Avon Park, FL, Eddie Guevara (Liezl) of Menasha, WI, Sergio Guevara (Dana) of Sanford, NC and Cesar Guevara (Beth) of Gwinn. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Living Faith Fellowship, 221 E. Highway M35, Gwinn, MI 49841 or to UPAWS, PO Box, 968, Marquette, MI 49855.
