We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2025, at the age of 80, Karen J. McElroy of Gwinn, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Sather and Amanda Sather (Erickson); and her brother William Sather. She is survived by: her husband James McElroy of Gwinn; her children, Teri Babcock (Greg) of Negaunee, MI and Wayne McElroy (Melissa) of Gwinn; her grandchildren, Tara Chamblee, Christopher Chamblee, Dryden McElroy and Wyatt McElroy; her great grandchildren, Dominick Williams and Saylor Chamblee; her sister Mavis Jeffords of California; and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Sather of Gwinn and Jacque Whiting of Mt. Morris, MI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Karen's memory to a charity of your choice.
