It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emil John Ghiringhelli (Gwinn, Michigan), born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on October 30, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Ghiringhelli and Louise Ghiringhelli; his wife Mary Carmen Filizetti; and his siblings, Erma Bertocchi and Louie Ghiringhelli.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Goris of Saginaw, MI, Louise Cherry (Bob) of Saginaw, MI, Terry Ghiringhelli (Lorrie) of Gwinn and Peter Ghiringhelli (Patty) of Gwinn; his grandchildren, Joey Goris (Allison), Karen Huff, Paul Cherry (Lisa), Jennifer Frank (Chris), Cory Ghiringhelli (Kristin), Jason Ghiringhelli (Lynn), Melissa Hall (Don), Tony Ghiringhelli (Lisa) and Jenna Maloof (John); his great grandchildren, Emily, Mia, Brady, Carter, Cameron, Sophie, Josh, Max, Emma, Julia, Dominic, Olivia, Vincent, Sara, Garrett, Lauren, Eli, Michael and Jessica; his sisters, Teresa Toigo of California and Rita Perrault (Ray) of Negaunee; and his nieces, Mary Lou Savitski of Negaunee and Roxanne Filizetti of Marquette. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
