He was predeceased by: his father Robert Pelkola; and his sister-in-law Susan Pelkola. He is survived by: his fiancée Judy DePetro; his children, Andrew Pelkola of Gwinn and Kayla Sanford (Kevin) of Gwinn; his mother Arlene Keskimaki (Koski); his siblings, Michael Pelkola of Gwinn, Kevin Pelkola (Susie) of Gwinn, Daniel Pelkola (Dana) of Gwinn, Debra Deering (Jeff) of Gwinn and Rodney Pelkola (Denise) of Peyton, CO.; and his grandchildren, Jensen Sather of Gwinn and Natalie Sanford of Gwinn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Canale-Gwinn Funeral Home and Cremation Services (96 E Stephenson Ave, Gwinn, MI 49841). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
