He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Smith and Bonita Smith; and his siblings, Brent and Tammy Smith. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith (Megill); his children, Colleen D. Bender (Smith), Jeanette Fors (Smith), William Smith and Jeremy Smith (Crystal); his adoptive daughter Angelique Smith; his stepsons, Richard Sayles (Margaret) and Kirk Sayles; and his siblings, Virginia Ramsey (Tim), Brian Smith (Linda), Bryce Smith (Judy) and Brett Reith (Lauren). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 7 nieces & nephews.
