She was predeceased by: her mother Renate Kauppila (Dietzel); her sister Sabine Kauppila; and her son Joshua Lehigh (Herminia) of Fort Worth, TX. She is survived by: her father James Kauppila Sr. of Hobart, IN; her grandchildren, Shyloh, Myles Lehigh, Lydia-Rose Baldwin and Liam Tarvas; and her siblings, Marian Kangas (Keith) of Gwinn, MI, Michelle Kauppila-Jahovic (Allen) of Hobart, IN and Jim Kauppila Jr. (Tammy) of Bloomington, IL. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, many old friends.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be directed to her daughter Amanda French, 1010 Ontario Ave., Marquette, MI 49855 to help offset her funeral expenses.
