He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Heinonen and Audrey Heinonen (Daavettila); his brother Daniel Heinonen; his sister-in-law Kelly Heinonen; and his nephew Dylan Heinonen.
He is survived by: his siblings, David (Maureen), John (Tricia) and Kathleen Heinonen; his nieces and nephews, Justin, Mark, Karl, Joseph, Hannah and Emma; his great-nephews, Jack and Ben; his great-niece Ailie; his aunts, Helen Pietila, Ruth Davison, Susie Wittenberg (Paul), Carol Ryynanen and Mary Hannus (John); and also Kenneth Heinonen. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bowerman Funeral Home (302 E Superior St, Munising, MI 49862).
