He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Hamill and Genevieve Hamill (Roy). He is survived by: his wife Linda DuFour; his children, LaVerne Jr. Hamill (Lori) of Beaver, WI, Larry Hamill (Julie) of Green Bay, WI, Sherri Dessell (Todd) of Suamico, WI, Nikki Burton (Herb) of Gulliver, MI and Melissa Ronsman (Tony) of Green Bay, WI; and his siblings, Shirley Benish, Marie Tyda, Gordon Hamill (Janet) and Ed Hamill (Helen).
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the VFW Hall (616N River Rd, Manistique, MI 49854).
