It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanne Irene Jenerou of Gulliver, Michigan, who passed away on September 5, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ansell and Gladys Ansell (Jackson); her husband Jack Jenerou; her sister Diane Bellack; her grandson Raymond Sanders; and her siblings-in-law, Madge Murray, Diane Jenerou, Marsha Jenerou, Linda Jenerou, Butch Jenerou, William Jenerou, William Murray and David Reed.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherri Jenerou (Jeffrey Neeson) of Manistique, MI and Kerri Unger (Edward) of Gulliver, MI; her stepdaughter Ruth Schittko of Nurenberg, Germany; and her grandchildren, BJ Tiglas (Jodi), Brandi Brewster (Dustin), Bryan Tiglas (Brandi), Aaron Eagle (Ashley), Jack Sanders (Cassandra Krenek), Edward Unger Jr. and Rebecca Unger. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was a very active parishioner at Zion Lutheran Church, participating with the church circle, attending regularly, and stayed connected during COVID lockdowns by participating in services via zoom.
