He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Beverly Curtiss; his children, Bennett Walsh, Ami E. Walsh (John Baird), Sheila Kirk Walsh (Michael Dolan) and Brendan Clune Walsh (Kelly); his stepson Brian Curtiss (Megan); his siblings, Marianna W. Sterr (Richard), Helen Walsh Berns (late Bill) and Bernard Kirk Walsh (Beverly B. Byron); his stepdaughter Jill Curtiss; and his parents, Clune Joseph Walsh and Helen Kirk Walsh. He was also cherished by his children and later his grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Walsh's name to the MDRT Foundation, 325 West Touhy Avenue Park Ridge, IL 60068, or the Detroit Institute of Arts (In Memory of Clune J. Walsh, Jr., Associates of the American Wing), 5200 Woodward Ave., Detroit, MI 48202.

“By happenstance, I went to Facebook for the first time in months and learned of Clune, Jr. recent passing. I have enjoyed his company enormously through the years as a guest in his and Beverly's beautiful home and have enjoyed him being with all of his children at various times. Always a fighter, he was a man of definition, strength, and great capabilities. I am better for having known and his wonderful family. Charlie Miller”
