We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2024, at the age of 68, Thomas Stephen Vaughn of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vaughn and Frances Vaughn. He is survived by: his wife Patti Krausmann-Vaughn; his children, Catherine Vaughn-Gillman (Eric), Cecelia Forinash (Brian), Patrick Vaughn (Jason Kim) and Audrey Vaughn; and his siblings, Kathie Hickel (Gerry), Jackie O'Boyle (Paul), Marybeth Grosfield (Dick), Jeff Vaughn (Patty) and Jim Vaughn (Ellen). He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Grosse Pointe Woods Foundation, The Kirk Gibson Foundation for Parkinsons, or Regina High School.

He taught me so much, and much of the success I had during my 31 years at Dykema I owe to him. He and I spent countless hours together and his example of patience, gentleness and being prepared is one I always tried to follow. His was a life well lived. He was a true friend and he will be greatly missed by all of us.”
