He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Burke and Inez Burke of Dearborn Heights. He is survived by: his sons, Brendan and Bennett; the mother of his children Pamela (Cimini); and his siblings, Mike (Suzanne), Pat (Mary Anne), Paul (Susan), Gerry (Janet) and Mary Beth. He is also survived by his sons, brothers and friends.
During the pandemic he would support cases remotely via video.
