She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Judith Maria, Nellie Ann (late Leonard Drake), Maria Teresa (Paul Bruno), Nilda Maria (Dennis Hoban) and Jose Miguel (Katia Carolina Barraza). She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She loved to quilt and knit, donating many blankets and baby caps to local hospitals.
