We bid farewell to Katharine Purrenhage Wagner (Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2025 at the age of 59. Katharine Purrenhage touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her father Edward C. Purrenhage, Jr.. She is survived by: her mother Susan K. Purrenhage; her sisters, Julie Gharios (Hadi), Amy Moore (Richard), Ellen Taber (Kurt) and Susan Palmer (Mark); her nieces and nephews, Laura, Peter, Julian, Justine, Leo, Susie, Sean, Ryan, Bridget, Chelsea, William, Tim, Rosemary, Jillian, Matthew, Lauren, Kayla, Maryrose, Jonathan, Grace, Claire, Nick, Giulia, Luke, Gianna and Raymond; and her friend Nena Sork.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the A. H Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Juniata Township Cemetery.
