It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Thams (Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan), who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Scott Thams (Shelly), Sharon Thams Carter, Kirk Thams (Jana), Keith Thams (Jacqueline), Judy Thams and Eric Thams (Lisa); her grandchildren, Lauren, Claire, Carrie, Jessica, Maya, Grace, Jake, Kelsie, Maita, Stephanie, Frankie, Ellie, Tommy and Giovanni; her siblings, James McCorkle (Georgia) and Harriett Jean Brown; and her husband Richard W'Dick. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ah Peters Funeral Home (20705 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Woods, MI 48236). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Lutheran Church (375 Lothrop Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236).
