He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Howard Goolsby and Freddie Ross. He is survived by: his brothers, Darrell Goolsby and Robert "Bobby" Esters; his stepson Robert Edward Morris Junior; his daughter Carmela Goolsby (Johnson); his wife Rowena Dixon; his son Darrell Sr. (Linda); and his grandchildren, Crystal, Randall (Sierra), Maria (Roberto), Darrell Jr., Ashley, Keisha (Ray), Eric (Danielle) and Lindsay. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family, and close friends.
