It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lou Woodell (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), who passed away on May 24, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William and Antoinette; her former husband Bruce Woodell; and her siblings, Kate, Rosemary, Chuck, Tom and Bill.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Holbrook (Tom), Julie McDowell (Mark) and Lisa Gutierrez (Jason); her grandchildren, Kendall Holbrook (Kevin Campbell), Kristin Holbrook (Camilo Avendano), Rebecca Miller (Josh), Mackenzie McDowell (Nicole Pittoors) and Jeffrey McDowell (Sarah Battle); her great grandchildren, Cate and Benjamin; and her friends, Tina, Elaine and Margaret.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Patrick Senior Center, 58 Parsons, Detroit, MI 48201.
