We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2025, at the age of 95, Lila June Tahnoose of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lila June leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Maron Maronite Catholic Church (11466 Kercheval Ave, Detroit, MI 48214). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
