He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Lavon Odum and Lee Deck of Washington; and his sister Carol Deck Weesner. He is survived by: his wife Atje Pat Zwaagstra; and his children, Matthew Lee and Andrea Grace. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in law and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the services will be held outdoors in the memorial garden with social distancing.
