We bid farewell to Kathleen Kennary Montagne (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 1, 2024 at the age of 87. Kathleen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. James M. Kennary and Rosemary G. Kennary; and her siblings, Dr. James M. Kennary Jr., Thomas M. Kennary and Patricia Ann Kennary.
She is survived by: her siblings, Timothy P. Kennary of Detroit, Dr. William G. Kennary of Johnson City, Tenn. and Sheila Kennary of Ludington; her children, Mickey Shield (Bill), Megan Pendy (John), Marty Montagne (Annie), Mary Ann O'Leary (Patrick), Matt Montagne and Mike Montagne (Ruby); her grandchildren, Trey, Timothy, Tucker, Tenley, Tommy, Ella, Lily, Maryl, Isabelle, Mac, Quinn, Jack, Patrick, Morgan, Meadow, Brooks and Star; and her great grandchildren, Paulina, Lula, Cleo, Emory, Margot, Hunter, Stella, Leo and Magnolia.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Parish (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230).
