She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie James and Laura Helen; and her siblings, Gwen Laurie Epps, Drucilla Epps Manns and Willie James Epps.
She is survived by: her daughter Monica Epps.
Her Kidney belonged to a 35-year-old Asian man whose family donated every organ and gave JoAnna and many others the gift of life.
