We bid farewell to Barbara Masouras (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 23, 2024 at the age of 77. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her sister Sherry Van Daele (Ron); and her siblings-in-law, Angeline Roustemis (late Michael) and Perry Masouras. She is survived by: her husband James "Jim"; her children, Jamie, Melissa Schervish (Chuck), Yia Yia, Ella and Allie; and her brother-in-law John (Joann). She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, remaining family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A prayer will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 6:00 PM. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church (21800 Marter Rd, St Clair Shores, MI 48080). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church.
