With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Andrew Thomas MD (Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan), born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on December 5, 2024 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Thomas and Marguerite Johnson; and his stepfather Maurice Johnson. He is survived by: his children, Andrew Thomas, III, Derrick Thomas and Monte Reed, Jr.; his wife Marsha; his sister Karen Johnson of Washington, D. C.; his sisters-in-law, Linda Jones, Cynthia Haynes and Katrina Bowman; his grandchildren, Chase, Courtney, Alaijah and Demoriyae; and his close friend Leroy Graham.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. - Grosse Pointe (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
