He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe LeChard and Peg LeChard; and his brother Richard LeChard. He is survived by: his wife Sidney (Systems Engineers); his children, Leigh Vittert (Jeff) and Mark (Lori); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Sammi, Allie, Jennifer, Anna and Cooper.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Verheyden, Inc. - Grosse Pointe (16300 Mack Ave, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). The lying in state was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Clare of Montefalco Catholic Church (1401 Whittier Rd, Grosse Pointe Park, MI 48230). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
