He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stone Turner, Sr. (Dorothy Tidey Turner) and Bill (Detroit). He is survived by: his wife Lynn Turner; his children, Bill Turner (Allyson), Jill Echlin (Lewis) and Rebecca Werder; his grandchildren, Emma Turner, Audrey Turner, William Turner, Kayley Turner, Turner McKenzie, Wesley McKenzie, Gus Werder, Eli Werder, Miriam Werder, Lewis Echlin and Mia Echlin; and his brother Charles Turner (Yolanda).
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grosse Pointe Memorial Church (16 Lake Shore Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in his name to the Ecumenical Theological Seminary, 2930 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48201, to the Grosse Pointe Memorial Church Outreach program, or to a charity of your choice.
