It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Martin of Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 8, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his children, Renee Seago (John), Debora Murray (Patrick), Kelly Marshall (Brett), Dr. Rich Martin, D. O. (Melissa) of Hood River, OR and Susan Martin of Holland; and his brother Roy Martin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Kristina (Ryan), Meghan (Danny), Kelly, Michael, Ryan, Catherine (Nathan), Robert (Susie), Sarah (Matt), Kristin, Jennifer (Alex), Matthew and Christopher; and his stepgrandchildren, Patrick Jr., Kristine and Meredith. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 4 step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
