He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elza; his children, Karin, David (Lynn) and Neal; and his grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren and Kenneth.
He was a valued member of the community, having volunteered many hours to the Red Cross for Pheresis donations, to his children's schools, scouting, and later to the Senior Men's Club of Grosse Pointe.
