She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Sweeney and Agnes Sweeney; her husband Don Stanitzke; and her sister Jeanette. She is survived by: her son Steve (Amy); her grandchildren, Katelyn Simmons (Alec), Maddy Hernandez (Christian), Maggie Collins-Trawick (Will) and Patrick "PJ"; her great grandchild Molly Hernandez; her nieces, Jane Wernecke (Al) and Nancy Hach; and her great-nieces, Amy Kinsman (Tony) and Jen Brady.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church (157 Lake Shore Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236).
