She was predeceased by: her parents, Remy Roost and Gabrielle Vander Roost; her husband Carl; and her children, Donald (Andrea) and Joann.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard (Sharon) and David (Julie) of Mission Hills. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church (157 Lake Shore Rd, Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in her name to Capuchin Services (https://www.thecapuchins.org) for the poor and needy.
