He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Richmond Maycock and Joseph Farwell Maycock. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Shaw Maycock; his children, Suzannah Maycock Brown, Molly Maycock Ilkhanoff and John Farwell Maycock; his children-in-law, Michael Vernon Brown, Leonard Ilkhanoff and Katherine Graves Maycock; his sister Anne Maycock Merlino; and his grandchildren, Molly, Zachary Brown, Leila, Will Ilkhanoff, Bennett and Griffith Maycock.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Myopia Center of Excellence at the Byers Eye Institute at Stanford University to further myopia research.
