Grace Wade Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Grace Wade (Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan), who passed away on February 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Grace had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Grace may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Vickers and Mildred P. Vickers. She is survived by: her children, Patty Snider, John (Maureen Wade), Debbie (Mike Rude), Susan (Dan Crane), James (Laurie Marcus-Wade) and Julie (Bob Moesta). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, cousins, neighbors, coworkers, and the many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Grace's memory to the Grosse Pointe Library Foundation, 10 Kercheval Ave., Grosse Pointe Farms, MI 48236.
