It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Formicola (Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on February 2, 2019, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ciro Bologna and Anna Bologna; her husband Leo; her children, Joseph Formicola and Maria Giordano; and her granddaughter Christina Formicola.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Emily Richardson (Karl), Joseph Formicola, Lauren Check, Joseph Check II (Lesley), Gus Miller, Dominic, Lia, Carl, Anna and Michael Giordano; her great grandchild Julian Richardson; and her children-in-law, Ellen Formicola and Carl Giordano. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
