Stephen James Engle Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen James Engle of Grosse Ile, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Stephen James' earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Stephen James has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Engle and Mary Engle. He is survived by: his wife Julie Engle; his sister Diane Grothjan (Gregg); and his mother-in-law Margarite Butkowski. He is also survived by nieces (great niece), nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trenton Chapel - Martenson Family (3200 West Rd, Trenton, MI 48183). The lying in state was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St Joseph Catholic Church (2623 3rd St, Trenton, MI 48183). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
