He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Porter; his child Darby Ditzhazy; his parents, Ernest Porter and Maggie Porter; and his sister Edith Lawrence.
He is survived by: his children, Shelley Schmidtke (Les) and Jill Ritter (Ward); his grandchildren, Jaime, Marcy, Karlee (Hippie), Laycee (Tim), Grant (Emily), Austen (Kelsea), Clark, Ward, Rachel, Dylan (Stevie) and Griffin (Nikki); and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Rylee, Avery and Ward III.
