It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen Marie Safavian of Grosse Ile, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Walter Billquist; her mother Elaine Moxlow; her sister Sandra Burke; and her father George S. Moxlow. She is survived by : her children, David Safavian (Jennifer) and Mehnaz Safavian (Steve Dieterle); her grandchildren, Kathleen Cameron Safavian, Rebecca Grace Safavian and Henry George Dieterle; her siblings, Doni Harris (Bob), Tim Moxlow, Mary Boomhower (Keith) and David Moxlow (Renee); her brother-in-law Tim Burke; her grandchildren, Kate and Becca; and her pets, Robbie and Stella.
