He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Ivanics and Mary Ivanics; and his son Gerald Todd. He is survived by: his wife Ann Holcz; his daughter Ann Marie Vis (William); his grandchildren, Kellie Todd, Michelle Todd, Bridget Vis and Aaron Vis (Breanna); and his great grandchild Ethan Shuford.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church - Grosse Ile (21599 Parke Ln, Grosse Ile Township, MI 48138). The lying in state was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Joseph may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Project.
