It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnette Ellen Bacalis of Grosse Ile, Michigan, who passed away on May 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Jesse Bacalis; her parents, George Dabney and Evagean Fowler; and her siblings, Jewell Potts (Ira) and George Osswood Dabney (Yvonne).
She is survived by: her stepchildren, William Bacalis (Joyce), Dianne Miller (Jerry), David Bacalis (Becky), Susan Mulski and Dan Bacalis (Dottie); her sister Barbara Draper; and her nieces and nephews, Rodger, Charles Pack, Denise Lopez (Johnny), Pam Hinkle (Steve) and Ellen Spry.
In place of flowers, donations can be made to Grosse Ile Presbyterian Church.
