He was predeceased by: his children, Brenda Meek (Kenny), Douglas Burgess and Danny Burgess. He is survived by: his spouse Trilby Burgess; and his sons, Larry Burgess (Patricia), Rodney Burgess (Sharon) and Billy Burgess (Donna). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
