He was predeceased by: his parents, Elroy Arthur and Louise May Schnake (Buettner); and his siblings, John, William (Bill) and Patricia.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Cottom Schnake; his children, Stephanie Argyle (Morris) of Provo, Utah, Mark Schnake and Donna Wycoff (Jon) of Black Diamond, Washington; and his grandchildren, Sarah Argyle, Mark Argyle, Matthew Argyle, Jared Argyle, Rachel Argyle, Amelia Wycoff and Jesse Wycoff. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
