Blaise Andrew Repasky Obituary
Blaise Andrew Repasky, 77, of Grosse Ile, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on November 14th. Blaise is a veteran of the Vietnam War. For his service, he earned the Army Commendation Medal (Second Oak Leaf Cluster) for Meritorious Service (April 1969 to May 1970). He served honorably in the Army, achieving the rank of Specialist.
Blaise graduated from Wayne State University and the University of Detroit Law School where he then went on to practice law in the Downriver area for fifty years. In his spare time, Blaise loved reading, watching sports, and spending time with his family. One of Blaise's biggest accomplishments was being a father. His children, Erika and Olivia Repasky, called their Dad a hero, and even as adults, still see him that way.
He was always there for them through their ups and downs, and taught them to enjoy every moment life has to offer. Aside from being survived by his daughters, Blaise also leaves behind his former spouse Valerie Repasky, sister Andrea Wharton, and cat, OJ. Blaise is preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Irene Repasky, and his brother, Paul Repasky.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Blaise's honor to a local animal shelter.
