He was predeceased by : his mother Mary; and his spouse Deedie. He is survived by : his children, Scott Clauss (Roberta), Susan Richardson (Kim) and Julie Brooks (Curtis); his grandchildren, Lindsey (Matt), Kelly (Evan), Will, Jennifer, Jaclyn (Glenn), Bennett and Grace; and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Gillian, Liam, Jack, Forrest, Gus, William, Avery, Adia, Virginia and Rose.

Memorial contributions may be directed to a favorite charity or the Grosse Ile Land Conservancy.
