He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley J. Sysol and Clara Sysol (Sinskowski); his wife Joyce B. Thompson; his children, John Sysol (Maggie) of Onsted, Jeff Sysol (Karen) of Michigan Center, Jodi McCoy (Thomas) of Manchester and James Sysol (Amy) of Michigan Center; and his siblings, Doug Sysol of Colorado, Fred Sysol of Detroit and Carolin Sysol Davis of Tennessee. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and almost four great-grandchildren.
Funeral directors are following current Michigan Department of Health and Human Services guidelines for COVID-19; only 10 people are allowed to pay their respects at one time—those attending will be instructed accordingly, and masks must be worn.
