He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sledz and Iris Sledz; and his siblings, Tony Savoie and Patricia Burton. He is survived by: his wife Catherine Sledz; his children, Joseph Sledz, Cristina Hamm (Frank) and Stacy Sledz; and his sisters, Brenda Waiter (Ray) and Linda Pitcher (David).
Donations in his honor may be made to the American Cancer Society and to the Henry Ford Cancer Center.
