She was predeceased by: her husband James Verburg; and her son-in-law Jake "Buzz" Woodwyk. She is survived by: her children, Jerry Verburg (Joanne) of Cedar Springs, Susan Woodwyk of Belmont, Carol Piatt (Jim) of Greenville and Sandy Austin (Pastor Mike) of Greenville; and also Pastor Mike Austin.

Memorial contributions may be given to Liberty Baptist Church or Spectrum Health Hospice.
