He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Staelens and Norma Clark; and his brother Phillip Staelens. He is survived by: his siblings, Sally Cramer (Daniel), Melissa Robinson, Frederick Staelens (Cathy), Margaret Stockton (Gilbert) and Dennis Irish; his children, Sherry Bender (James), Chad Staelens (Devon), Brandi Jenkins (Ben) and Lisa Woodland (Jason); and his close friend Linda Staelens. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
