He is survived by: his wife Ila; his children, Shannon Nichols of Greenville, Joe Abbott of Greenville, Betty Dunbar of Grand Rapids and Heather Abbott (Jarid Bonoite) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Tranquility Sampier (Cody) of Howard City, April Nichols of Greenville, Serenity Dunbar of Grand Rapids, Felicity of Greenville, Nevaeh of Greenville, Hayden Abbott of Greenville and Jarid Bonoite of Greenville; and his siblings, Pete Nichols (Tami) of Greenville, Jerry Nichols of Greenville, Rusty Nichols of Greenville, Rosemary Hodges (Jay) of Greenville, Rosemarie Bush (Rob) of Greenville and Virginia Herroon (Ray) of Greenville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
