Rood of Greenville, Michigan, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on June 13, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan M. Rood and Marie F. Rood (Mishler); his sister Marion Quillan; and his siblings-in-law, James, Donald, Tom Regan and Norma M. Regan of California.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his children, Michael Rood (Peggy) of Kent City, Patrick Rood (Deanna) of Walker, Mary Scheidel (Brett) of Middleville, Timothy Rood (Shelley) of Ann Arbor and Brian Rood (Carol) of Farmington Hills; his grandchildren, Mitch (Sarah), Joe (Brianna), Brandon (Bethany), Scott (Emily), Jenna (Michael), Marissa, Nolan, Kate (David), Caleb (Kristen), Erin (Samuel), Tess, Ian, Megan, Nicholas, Zach, Morgan and Josh; his great grandchildren, Avah, Scarlett, Ceci, Cora, Lane, William, Evelyn, Jameson, Savannah, Jack, Chloe, Norah and Sadie; his siblings, Shirley Pell of Florida, Susan Greenhoe (Steve) of Orleans, Jack Rood (Arlene) of Phoenix and Jerry Rood (Julie) of Ocala, Florida; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Regan of South Lyon and Joyce Regan of Dearborn.
