He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Mayfield and Briget Mayfield (Peirsen); his friend Terry; his pet Terry; his wife Joanne Snow; his sons, Carl V. Shaffer and Tony Shaffer; his sister Carol Hendricks (Wallace); his sisters-in-law, Debra Wright (Jack) and Kristi Gray (Louie); his pet Dungee; his nephews, Mike Wright (Kristy), David Wright (Nicole) and Max Wright (Samantha); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jaxson, Mackenzie Wright, Montgomery, Everleigh Wright, Grayson and Oliver Wright.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montcalm County Animal Shelter.
