He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Neitzel and Ermetta Neitzel (Stanard); his brother Kenneth Neitzel; and his siblings-in-law, Dolores Neitzel and Tony Mortensen.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Hurst; his children, Shelly Neitzel MD (Andrew Caughey MD), Bryon Neitzel and Jennifer Moloney (Scott); his granddaughters, Eliza, Madeleine Caughey, Erin Neitzel and Katherine Moloney; and his sister Doris Mortensen.
